The activities of SAFINA, a.s. extend to various branches of industry. From this point of view they include in particular; electrical, cooling, photographic, chemical, engineering, automobile, aircraft and glass industry and others, but also power engineering, metallurgy, health care, production of semiconductors and building industry.
The activities related to industry include many products ranging from alloys of precious metals for industrial use, hard silver solders, contacts for electrical engineering, Pt-Rh furnaces (for extracting glass fibers by one or two degree way with jet bottoms, made by pressing-when-cold method - from classic and stabilized alloys of platinum - and by welding method), platinum laboratory equipment (plates, pots, spoons, electrodes and other products according to customers’ demands) to products made of nonferrous metals (nails and rivets made of copper, aluminum and their alloys, foils made of copper and its alloys).
Very pure powder platinum is for production of cytostatic drugs in pharmaceutical industry and for production of coating pastes for ceramic industry and electro technology.
